To identify the 3 phases of wound healing & to identify the treatment goals for clients with wounds

To list the characteristics of a wound assessment

To describe the seven different types of wounds & the 3 different types of wound tissue

To recall how to measure wound depth & how to describe wound location

To list what to include when documenting the description of a wound bed

To identify what to include when documenting the description of the peri-wound

To identify the purpose of wound irrigation & to list the pre-procedure steps for wound irrigation

To identify the purpose of a wound culture & the steps for how to culture a wound

To identify 3 therapies for extensive and hard to heal wounds ( vacuum assissted wound care , hyperbaric wound treatment, and  compression stockings and bandages )

 

Methods of Education to Achieve the Objectives

Every video has specific objectives to be achieved

Initially , participant will have  pre-test as a part of assessment steps

Participant will watch videos accompanied by  images, pdf files , figures or diagrams. At the end , participant must pass post-test to get certification of completion. Participant must follow the learning path in the platform
