To identify the normal temperature range & the importance of collecting temperature, and to list the different ways to determine body temperature
To describe the steps for taking an oral temperature, a temporal temperature, and a tympanic temperature
To identify the normal range for heart rate, the components of a pulse assessment, and to list the points on the body where the pulse can be assessed
To describe how to take a radial pulse and an apical pulse & to describe the different characteristics of a pulse
To identify the normal range for respiratory rate for different age groups & to identify the 3 components of assessing ventilation
To identify what is considered a normal blood pressure, to describe the differences between hypertension and hypotension, and to identify how to determine appropriate blood pressure cuff size
To describe the steps for taking a manual blood pressure and how to find the systolic and diastolic values when taking a manual blood pressure
To describe how oxygen saturation is measured and the various devices that can be utilized for measurement
To explain the different kinds of pulse oximeter levels and how the various levels impact a client
Methods of Education to Achieve the Objectives
Every video has specific objectives to be achieved
Initially , participant will have pre-test as a part of assessment steps
Participant will watch videos accompanied by images, pdf files , figures or diagrams. At the end , participant must pass post-test to get certification of completion. Participant must follow the learning path in the platform
Evaluation of Scientific Activity by the Participants
