The Main Learning Objectives

To define public health

To describe the 3 public health core functions and 10 essential services

To explain how the public health workforce fulfills these functions

To explain the 8 characteristics of PHN

To distinguish between community and public health nursing

To define 3 types of communities

To differentiate between community, population, and aggregate

To identify the four causes of illness

To define social determinants of health (SDOH) and provide examples

To identify the five areas of importance for public health nurses and describe how nurses can address them

To identify and describe the three different approaches to health promotion

To differentiate between primary, secondary and tertiary levels of prevention

 

Methods of Education to Achieve the Objectives

Every video has specific objectives to be achieved

Initially , participant will have  pre-test as a part of assessment steps

Participant will watch videos accompanied by  images, pdf files , figures or diagrams. At the end , participant must pass post-test to get certification of completion. Participant must follow the learning path in the platform

 

Evaluation of Scientific Activity by the Participants

By evaluation form after completing course , it will be send to participants. It is an important to know that it will be mandatory to get certification
