The Main Learning Objectives

To identify and discuss different causes of cyanosis in infants

To describe the pathophysiology of truncus arteriosus & transposition of the great vessels

To explain the pathophysiology and management plan for tricuspid atresia &  tetralogy of Fallot

To recognize he pathophysiology and management plan for total anomalous pulmonary venous return, hypoplastic left heart syndrome, coarctation of the aorta

To brief how to clinically diagnose and manage hypertrophic obstructive myopathy and its radiologic findings

To state the clinical significance of patent ductus arteriosus, atrial septal defect, and ventricular septal defect

To describe the clinical presentation and the abnormalities seen on X-ray and ECG  for myocarditis, infective endocarditis, pericarditis, and cardiomyopathy

To contrast and discuss the normal electrical conduction system of the heart and discuss the atypical presentations ( bradycardia, heart block , sinus tachycardia, and ventricular tachycardia )
