The Main Learning Objectives

To describe the initial survey (ABCDE) taken during acute trauma and identify the survey order along with management if required

To identify the best initial steps for evaluating Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and describe the Glasgow Coma Scale with management

To recognize the signs, symptoms, and the management plan for  increased intracranial pressure

To identify the management priorities in burn patients, list the signs of inhalational injury, and state the potential complications along with treatment options

To identify the best initial step for thoracic injuries ( tension pneumothorax, rib fractures, pulmonary contusion, hemothorax and cardiac Injury )

To state the best initial steps for managing patients with blunt cardiac injury, esophageal injury, diaphragmatic injury )

To describe the patterns of abdominal injuries and list the important steps ( kidney traumas, duodenal injury, chance fracture, blunt and penetrative abdominal  injury

To recognize the various types of injuries on different views obtained with eFAST

To describe the clinical findings, diagnostics, and management of pelvis, bladder and urethra injury

 

Methods of Education to Achieve the Objectives

Every video has specific objectives to be achieved

Initially , participant will have  pre-test as a part of assessment steps

Participant will watch videos accompanied by  images, pdf files , figures or diagrams. At the end , participant must pass post-test to get certification of completion. Participant must follow the learning path in the platform
