To discuss anatomy and histology of spinal cord and peripheral nerves
To define "myelopathy and describe the various upper and lower motor neuron signs caused by myelopathies
To approach spinal cord pathology
To list the locations and functions of various tracts within the spinal cord
To recognize the MRI findings of myelopathies, MS, idiopathic transverse myelitis and radiculopathy
To contrast the clinical presentations of conus medullaris and cauda equina syndromes
To identify where nerve roots may be affected by disc or other spinal cord pathologies
