To discuss fetal heart rate, uterine contractions, and its pathology

To describe the pain management options during labor

To recall the indications, the prerequisites, for operative vaginal delivery & cesarean section

To explain the pathogenesis, the characteristic sign,and   the management of shoulder dystocia

To discuss  placental separation from the uterus, postpartum hemorrhage, uterine atony, thrombin disorders, and spontaneous perianal tears
