To define a psychological disorder and recognize the worldwide prevalence of psychological disorders

To understand Psychological Disorders : Biomedical vs. Biopsychosocial Approaches

To explain why it is essential to classify psychological disorders and list the 2 primary sources used to classify psychological disorders

To describe how anxiety affects a person's thoughts and behaviors and identify the different types of anxiety disorders and their characteristic features

To describe and classify patients with somatic symptom disorder and explain their key features

To differentiate between the positive and negative symptoms of psychosis and recognize which symptoms respond well to antipsychotic medications

To discuss etiology, clinical features, classification, and management of schizophrenia

To recognize affect, mood, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, and dissociative identity disorder

To describe the structural and functional brain abnormalities in schizophrenia &  depression, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease

 

Methods of Education to Achieve the Objectives

Every video has specific objectives to be achieved

Initially , participant will have  pre-test as a part of assessment steps

Participant will watch videos accompanied by  images, pdf files , figures or diagrams. At the end , participant must pass post-test to get certification of completion. Participant must follow the learning path in the platform
