To define infectious diarrhea , the common causes , the key exam findings that will guide treatment approach

To discuss the indications for conducting a stool sample to help in differential diagnosis of diarrhea

To list the most common pathogens associated with watery diarrhea

To describe the pathogenesis of Vibrio cholerae ,  the signs and symptoms and the treatment approach for cholera

To recall the toxins that C. diff produces and its pathogenesis with complications

To Recall which diarrhea-causing bacteria in dairy products , seafood ,vegetables

To discuss  medications used to reduce diarrhea and medications used to treat dehydration associated with diarrhea

To define Hepatitis, etiology, epidemiology, pathology , signs and symptoms , diagnosis , treatment and  prevention

To identify Shiga toxin producing pathogens that can cause hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS),  the pathogenesis and  the clinical presentation of HUS

Methods of Education to Achieve the Objectives

Every video has specific objectives to be achieved
