To review history and origin of epidemiology and the basic terminology of epidemiology

 

To describe the role of observational epidemiology in preventing diseases and compare a risk factor versus the cause of a disease

To list the important tasks of epidemiology, different types of epidemiologists, and learning outcomes

To describe the application of EBM in epidemiology and the concept & the importance of EBM in making clinical decision

To differentiate between a systematic review and a meta-analysis and to explain observational studies and state their main types

To explain the PICO method of phrasing a research question and state a research question

 

Methods of Education to Achieve the Objectives

Every video has specific objectives to be achieved

Initially , participant will have  pre-test as a part of assessment steps

Participant will watch videos accompanied by  images, pdf files , figures or diagrams. At the end , participant must pass post-test to get certification of completion. Participant must follow the learning path in the platform
